Eligibility Criteria / தகுதிகள்

1. Age Limits / வயது வரம்பு
The candidate should have completed the age of 20 years and should not have exceeded 30 years as of the notification date. Age relaxation applies for reserved categories.
2. Educational Degree / கல்வித் தகுதி
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from any University recognized by UGC in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/3 pattern (Diploma + Degree).
3. Category Relaxations / வயது வரம்பு தளர்வு
- BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: Up to 32 Years
- SC/SCA/ST/Transgender: Up to 35 Years
- Destitute Widow: Up to 37 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 47 Years
SELECTION PROCESS / தேர்வு முறை

எழுத்துத் தேர்வு (Written Examination)
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test (Qualifying nature).
- Main Written Examination covering General Knowledge and Psychology.
- Focus on clear conceptual understanding for high scores.

சான்றிதழ் சரிபார்ப்பு & உடல் அளவீடு (CV & PMT)
- Strict verification of original educational and category documents.
- Height and Chest measurements strictly as per TNUSRB standards.
- Transparent measurement process with digital precision.

உடல் தகுதித் தேர்வு (Endurance Test)
- Men: 1500m run to be completed within 7 minutes.
- Women: 400m run within 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- Mandatory qualifying round for physical efficiency stages.

உடல் திறன் தேர்வு (Physical Efficiency Test)
- Events include Rope Climbing, Long/High Jump, and Running.
- Scoring based on One Star (2 marks) or Two Stars (5 marks) performance.
- Comprehensive point-based evaluation for final merit list.

நேர்காணல் (Viva-Voce)
- Personal Interview worth 10 marks to assess officer-like qualities.
- Evaluation of general knowledge, personality, and aptitude for service.
- Conducted by a board of senior police officers.

சிறப்பு மதிப்பெண்கள் (Special Marks)
- Marks awarded for NCC, NSS, and Sports achievements.
- Maximum of 5 special marks added to the final tally.
- Crucial points for candidates coming from disciplined backgrounds.
